Occupancy Planner

Job Description Summary

The Occupancy Planner’s primary focus is to provide tactical and strategic Space & Occupancy Planning expertise to manage the supply, capacity and demand of assigned Client’s Global portfolio of Space.

Job Description

Work closely with the Move, Add, Change (MAC) / Decom Project Manager to manage the site employee weekly small/large/project moves and monthly site to site moves.

Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with key business partners, vendor partners and Site Operations Manager.

Develop site occupancy plan for supply and demand: analysis of forecasted headcount and seat supply projections, supporting graphs, stacking plans, move scenarios, challenges and pros/cons for each recommendation.

Implement move plan in accordance with the approved occupancy plan.

Alter/recommend changes to the plan as business drivers, mergers, acquisitions or dispositions arise.

Facilitate neighborhood planning, move meetings or town halls in support of occupancy plans.

Support change management as it pertains to changing work space and work style.

Support communication plan as it pertains to occupancy plan.

Drive to improve Client awareness by providing trending analysis: new hire, terminations, moves, vacancy, actual vs forecast.

Strive to maintain best in class space and occupancy data.

Implement processes in accordance with Client Playbook for Space & Occupancy Planning.

Requirements

  • Learns new technology easily and uses it to the fullest potential (i.e. is tech savvy)
  • Must have 3-5 years’ experience in one or more of the following: occupancy planning experience, project management and/or data analytics.
  • Proficient with the following programs: Microsoft Office Suite, especially; PowerPoint, Excel. Additionally Smart Sheets experience and FAMIS 360 or other workorder system, a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and apply floorplans to 3D environment for the client. Knowledge of Serraview or other CAFM systems, a plus.
  • Must have strong public speaking skills, demonstrated customer service skills and competent writing proficiencies.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in one of the following: Interior Design, Data Sciences, Project Management, Business, or equivalent work experience.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 68,348.50 - $80,410.00
