Job Description Summary

The Project & Development Services team offer a full suite of offerings from Project Management, Cost Management, Building Consultancy, MEP Design, Workplace, Interior Design, Programme Management Office (PMO) and Design & Build to our clients.
This position will focus on contributing to the continued growth of the Project & Development Services (PDS) division which has more than doubled top line revenue since 2016. There is a road map in place to double the size of the division again and fundamental to that growth plan is the success of our design, and Design & Build capability in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

As a market facing leader in the PDS service line for the region, this role maintains critical client relationships at local, regional, and global levels and represents the Cushman & Wakefield brand in the industry.

Job Description:

About the Role:

  • Provide design technical support to the Design team based in Philippines for the South East Asia business for commercial fit-out projects
  • Produce functional space planning drawings by understanding client design brief, identifying optimal furniture placement while adhering to Landlord requirements, building codes, and inspection requirements
  • Work with Designers in developing visuals and composing data tabulation of the achieved design solutions such as material & finishes schedule/ loose & system furniture/
  • Produce detailed CAD drawings for tender bids, building submissions and revisions for construction, including:General Layout Plan/ Furniture Layout/ Partition & Door types/ Reflected Ceiling Plan RCP/ Wall & Floor finishes plan/ Joineries Annotation plan/ Demolition plan
  • Elevations
  • Joinery & details/ sections
  • Door types/ Ceiling & Floor details & terminations
  • Undertake daily design tasks assigned by the Team Lead from concept to completion
  • Research on workplace and commercial design trends and best practices

About You:

  • Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture or equivalent course accreditation
  • Relevant work experience in office and commercial fit-outs (Layout planning test fits, detailing, & putting together presentations slide)
  • Advanced proficiency in Auto

CAD and Microsoft PowerPoint:

  • Knowledge of Sketchup, BIM and Enscape is a plus
  • Experienced in using AI tools to aid design outputs
  • Portfolio with Southeast Asia commercial design work preferred
  • Meticulous and attention to elevations/ joinery details & sections
  • Able to work well under pressure, manage and priority tasks to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and accountable of own scope of works. Sense of ownership towards projects and role.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks and assignments.
  • Willingness to listen, learn and contribute proactively from all members of the team.
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate & share knowledge as part of an effective team.
  • Able to work independently to produce tender documentation with min supervision
