Responsibilities:

• Conduct market and industry research on retail trends, formats, and consumer behaviour
• Collect data from public sources, reports, surveys, and industry publications
• Monitor competitors, brands, and key players in the retail market
• Summarize research findings into clear insights and short reports
• Support internal teams with background research for strategy and planning
• Maintain research databases and regularly update industry trackers
• Assist with ad-hoc research requests and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar retail research role
• Experience assisting in data gathering, report preparation, and presentation building essential
• Strong desk research and data analysis skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or equivalent tools
