Job Description Summary

As a Facilities Manager on this account, you will be responsible for managing the operations of multiple sites, ensuring the delivery of both hard and soft services to meet contractual, compliance, and safety standards. This role involves managing the reactive, corrective and planned preventative maintenance, coordinating contractors, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
You will also on occasion, travel to the sites throughout your designated region to conduct inspections, build rapport with local teams, and ensure consistent service delivery across all facilities.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operations across multiple facilities, including both hard and soft services. Hard services include but are not limited to general building maintenance, HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Soft services include cleaning, grounds maintenance, waste management, security, pest control and the like.

  • Ensure all reactive, planned and corrective maintenance activities comply with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

  • Coordinate and manage maintenance programs to maintain the condition and presentation of all sites, both internally and externally. Ensure timely response to maintenance and repair requirements to uphold safety, compliance, and operational standards

  • Prepare accurate and timely site-specific documentation and reports, including property details, emergency procedures, compliance records, and financial summaries.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop capital budgets and maintenance plans that support facility upgrades and improvement initiatives.

  • Monitor tenant and contractor compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements, and assist with remedial actions as required

  • Travel to regional and remote sites as required to oversee operations, conduct inspections and create rapport with local teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management; OR

  • Demonstrated experience supported by a trade or technical qualification, or formal qualifications in facilities management, building, business, or a

  • related discipline. Bachelor's degree and/or previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Ability to plan and manage preventative maintenance programs based on asset data and compliance requirements, ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.

  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and managing construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation to support maintenance and project activities.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS/Work Order Management systems
