Associate / Sr. Associate – Cost Monitoring MEP
This role is responsible for overseeing the cost monitoring and billing of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations in a construction / refurbishment project, focusing on the coordination, quality, and smooth handover of these systems to clients.
About the Role:
- Review MEP design intent, drawings, and specifications
- Review MEP layouts for constructability, maintainability, and coordination with architectural and structural systems.
- Support identification of design gaps, clashes, and value engineering opportunities.
- Assist in preparing MEP cost estimates at concept and design development stages.
- Support validation of MEP budgets against design intent and benchmarks.
- Provide technical inputs to the cost management team for cost plans and feasibility studies.
- Support preparation and review of MEP tender documents, technical specifications, and scope definitions.
- Assist in pre‑tender estimates for MEP packages.
- Support verification of Running Account (RA) bills for MEP packages.
- Validate quantities, specifications, and executed works against approved documents.
- Contribute to the accurate estimation and management of project costs
About You:
B.E Electrical / Mechanical with 3 to 4 years of experience in Office Interiors and billing.
- Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works and finishing
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exposure to commercial interiors, corporate offices, or refurbishment projects preferred.
- Experience working with consultants, PMCs, or real estate advisory firms is an advantage.
