Job Description Summary

We are hiring this role for an upcoming Data Centre Project in Singapore. The Resident Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supervising and monitoring all mechanical works on a data centre construction site.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mechanical installation activities on the data centre site.

• Review and verify mechanical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.

• Monitor installation of key mechanical systems,

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with mechanical standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

• Ensure contractors follow quality standards, approved procedures, and project timelines.

• Resolve site-level technical issues or escalate to design/engineering teams.

• Maintain inspection logs, daily reports, punch lists, and handover documents.

• Enforce mechanical safety practices and general HSE compliance on site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 5 to 7 years of experience, including work on data centre or mission-critical mechanical systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
