Job Description Summary

PDS is a large and growing service line withing Cushman & Wakefield’s EMEA business. Over the past decade we have expanded our coverage and services in areas of project management, building consultancy, interior design, cost and MEP engineering and Design & Build. We are one of the world’s leading real estate services companies and see potential to grow further with investor and occupiers clients, new sectors and closer collaboration across other C&W service lines.
To foster this growth, we need to add a new position for building-on our in-countries businesses. This represents a unique opportunity to help shape and drive the business and work across a diverse range of clients, market teams and the wider C&W network.

Job Description:

The new position of Sales Manager PDS will help us to build relationships and secure valuable mandates with the world’s best-know companies.

Ideally he/she comes from Architectural and Engineering firms, General Contractor and/or Design&Build companies, and is keen to develop a long-term sales career within an international consultancy.

The PDS sales manager will report to the in-Country PDS Head of Sales.

He/she will implement the Italy PDS Sales operating model, being responsible for achieving the yearly sales target. The PDS Sales manager will also contribute to promoting cross-selling activities for the EMEA business within the C&W matrix organization.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement the PDS sales and forecasting plan in Country, support the PDS sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, with a focus on professional services for Investors and Occupiers Real Estate market;

  • Maintain a strong project pipeline to achieve quarterly sales objectives;

  • Assist in managing relationships with existing clients and prospects;

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations and site visits alongside senior team members;

  • Collaborate with other Cushman & Wakefield service lines to support cross-selling initiatives;

  • Drive productivity in line with group KPIs.

Pipeline & CRM:

  • Ensuring monitoring of sales target;

  • Develop/expand client relationship;

  • Support and update of CRM systems;

  • Assist in tracking sales opportunities and pipeline development;

  • Prepare basic reports on sales activity, pipeline status and opportunities.

  • Tenders & Proposals

  • Support the preparation of RFI / RFP responses and commercial proposals;

  • Coordinate inputs from technical PDS teams and Bid Support;

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and marketing materials for client submissions.

Marketing & Brand:

  • Support PDS marketing and brand development initiatives at country level (brochures, guides, articles, etc.) to generate understanding and interest in the PDS services amongst both internal teams and target client groups;

  • Attend industry events, conferences and networking initiatives together with the sales team;

  • Contribute to the quality and consistency of any Client output.

Skills and Qualifications

The selected person will need to have a background within the real estate market or technical services arena, with the ability to manage a Target for Sales. To understand the basics of PDS discipline and services provided is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional experience (3-5 years) in a sales, business development or commercial support role, preferably within Architecture and Engineering firms, Principal Contracting, Design & Build, or real estate technical services companies;

  • Active client networks;

  • Strong interest in the real estate and construction sectors;

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn;

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, matrix organization;

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;

  • Willing to travel to build client relationships;

  • Solid knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, CRM tools. Graphic design tools will be considered preferrable.
