Job Description Summary

A Construction Manager who will be responsible to oversees and coordinates construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Their responsibilities include managing contractors and site staff, ensuring safety compliance, scheduling, budgeting, and resolving any on-site issues. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

• Monitoring the execution of work at site to ensure alignment to the drawings and specification.
• Ensuring the workability and adherence to standards in the work statement/methodologies submitted by contractors for each item of work and ensuring the alignment to the same at site. Responsible for all site work related documentation for the assigned items of work.
• Anticipate and flag imminent bottlenecks. Take steps to avoid delays. Furnish necessary reports of critical activities and super critical activities to client
• Advice contractors in enhancing the resource productivity by implementing various work study techniques
• Monitor procurement of materials, equipment and labour by contractors with respect to the time schedule and advise them suitable measures for improvement
• Assisting QA/QC – in – charge in ensuring all quality parameters are met.
• Assisting the safety team in implementing the safety standards at site; provide all support for making job safety analysis.
• Escalating to project manager about all abnormal developments with respect to progress of work, safety, quality, resources etc.
• Support Planing and Billing teams in their deliveries
• Ensure weekly meetings with contractors are done and are followed up for deliveries
• Ensure any client materials are indented on time
• Ensure Change management process is followed for all variations
• Review and implementation of contractual clauses during construction, billing etc.,
