Payroll Advisor - EMEAJob Description Summary
The role is to manage the organization's payroll processing, ensure that employees are accurately compensated for their work on time, including salary, wages, deductions, and benefits while ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations in line with compliance and the Global Payroll strategy.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing payroll processes for multiple countries in EMEA Region
- Review and validate payroll data and output
- Coordinate with People Service about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Ensuring the payment of employees
- Handling payment issues
- Answer employee’s questions or complaints about salaries, tax and payments
- Manage payment calendars for the tax year
- Report payroll issues to management
- Produce reports to management upon request
- Assist the accounting department
- Collaborate with financial personnel and assist statutory audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1-3 year of experience with global shared service organization
- Fluency in English is a must, any other European language is an advantage
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Workday, ADP, or other Payroll and HCM system experience
- Experience of working with ServiceNow and Workday or other similar HR technology is an advantage
- Familiarity with payroll processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Strong time management skills, ability to adapt changes quickly and to work under tight deadlines
