About the Role

  • Develop and implement workplace health and safety plans and policies in line with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to evaluate procedures, facilities, equipment, and employee practices for compliance and safety.
  • Lead safety trainings and awareness programs to promote accident prevention and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate incidents to identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and support workers’ compensation processes.
  • Prepare safety reports, track key metrics, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and regulatory adherence.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager with strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Skilled in developing policies, producing reports, analyzing data, and conducting thorough risk assessments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to observe and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety management or a related field preferred, along with a valid occupational health and safety certification.
