About the Role:

The Sr Financial Analyst II – Revenue will join a fast-paced corporate FP&A team and will support Crowd Strike in forecasting and reporting ARR and revenue accurately. You will provide the data and analyses for complex long-term financial models and any ad-hoc analyses to inform decision making by Crowd Strike’s senior management team and support the company-wide planning process. Among other responsibilities, in this role you will have the unique opportunity to work with various teams across the organization, such as Sales, Investor Relations, Accounting, Data Analytics, and Product.

  • USA – Sunnyvale, CA

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning for various areas of the revenue model

  • Develop strong assumptions to drive accuracy in bookings, ARR, and revenue forecasting

  • Support the month-end financial close activities for bookings and revenue, including forecast versus actuals analysis and reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact to the Alliances team on all contra revenue related inquiries and analyses

  • Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure all data driven contra revenue reporting and forecasting is complete and accurate

  • Proactively find ways to add value and efficiency to the bookings and revenue forecasting processes

  • Play a key role in the creation of executive presentations and other special projects for ARR and revenue support

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required; MBA desired

  • 4-6 years of experience in an investment bank, management consulting firm, and/or a high-growth private or public technology company in a finance/strategy/sales ops role

  • Strong knowledge of SaaS finance and accounting metrics – calculation of ACV bookings, ARR, churn/contraction, dollar retention rates, etc.

  • High aptitude and excellent analytical skills for complex problem solving and financial modeling

  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable advancing the ball with minimal direction or oversight

  • Superior attention to detail – must display the highest levels of consistency and accuracy in work

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial audiences

  • Experience using big data, such as extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasets

  • Clear understanding of GAAP accounting and revenue recognition

  • Complete proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Saleforce.com, Tableau, Adaptive Insights Planning, and Net Suite a plus

Crowd Strike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $86,000 - $135,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
