Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in hybrid cloud environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience connecting SDWAN-defined networks to AWS, enabling seamless integration between on-premises data centers and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will architect, implement, and maintain AWS multi-account environments, leveraging AWS Organizations and Control Tower for centralized governance and compliance.

A strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking, security, and automation is required. You will be responsible for designing and enforcing Service Control Policies (SCPs), configuring firewalls across both on-premises and cloud environments, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity. Your role will also include writing automation scripts in TypeScript or Python to drive infrastructure provisioning using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible, as well as integrating these pipelines with internal provisioning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain hybrid cloud solutions, bridging on-premises and AWS environments using SDWAN and secure networking practices.

• Design, implement, and manage AWS multi-account architectures with AWS Organizations and Control Tower, ensuring alignment with hybrid cloud best practices.

• Develop and enforce AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs) and security controls across hybrid environments.

• Configure and manage firewalls and network security for both data center and cloud infrastructure.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using TypeScript or Python with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Integrate infrastructure-as-code pipelines with internal provisioning and CI/CD tools.

• Collaborate with security, network, and application teams to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant hybrid cloud solutions.

• Stay current with emerging hybrid cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing architectures.

Prerequisites:

• Proven experience with hybrid cloud architectures, including integration of on-premises and AWS environments.

• Strong knowledge of SDWAN technologies and AWS networking.

• Expertise in AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and multi-account management.

• Solid understanding of cloud and hybrid security principles, including SCPs and firewall configuration.

• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python for infrastructure automation.

• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Experience integrating infrastructure automation with internal provisioning or CI/CD tools.

• Good understanding of relational databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Amazon RDS), including deployment and management in hybrid environments.

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes: deployment, scaling, and management of containerized workloads.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
