Job Overview
This role plays a critical function within the Global Procurement organization. The role is responsible for improving procurement processes, systems and reporting, along with supporting various initiatives such as developing global procurement analytics and recommendations based on market data and competitive analysis for benchmarking, strategic decision-making / negotiations to global and local teams. Additionally, the role will support the implementation of process changes, Executive Dashboards, KPI/metric development along with best practices and updated templates
The Global Procurement Team is dynamic and fast-paced, directly supporting Coupang branches and related departments worldwide. We are seeking a candidate for this position who possesses a passion for data analytics, procurement operations and process improvement, teamwork, a customer-centric view, and a quality and results-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of major systems, contributing to increased user productivity, and handling tasks related to
Procurement Team innovation.
Metric/KPI Development

Support with developing efficient operations mechanisms and
process improvement for faster procurement savings KPI
development, tracking, and monthly reporting -
Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI,
Tableau, or Excel.
Procurement Spend Data Refinement:
-
Improve/cleanse the quality of procurement spend data into
usable taxonomies to drive end user adoption for data driven
decision making and savings opportunity assessment -
Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for
cost savings.
Market Intelligence & Analysis:
-
Lead the gathering and analysis of market data to understand
industry trends, commodity price fluctuations, and potential supply
chain/geo-political disruptions for assigned categories -
Provide actionable insights from market intelligence to inform
procurement decisions and strategic planning. -
Provide category sourcing managers with relevant market and
competitive information to support their negotiations -
Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely
completion and alignment with organizational goals. -
Streamline procurement processes and improve efficiency through
process optimization. -
Lead various cost savings projects as assigned from inception to
execution -
Support tasks related to new supplier registration and Supplier Lifecycle
Management (SLM).
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
-
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
-
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
-
In-depth understanding of new technologies and expertise in system concepts.

Experience with procurement-related systems and tools (SAP Ariba preferred, Coupa, Emro, etc.).

Solid understanding of business processes.

Ability to handle a large volume of requests from multiple clients with timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency

In such case, within fourteen (14) days from the date of identifying the receipt of the request, the Company will send the hiring documents to the job applicant’s designated address via registered mail. Please be informed that the job applicant is required to pay the postage on the registered mail.

In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
