HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
SG 10/11
- Serve as the project key member for all autonomous vehicle (AV) testing solutions and development projects.
- Plan and prepare complex resources (vehicles, drivers, tire samples, measurement equipment) for both standard and autonomous testing protocols.
- Develop and update specialized test procedures that account for the unique load profiles and driving behaviors inherent to self-driving systems.
- Utilize Matlab and Python to maintain tools, interpret vehicle sensor data, and analyze CAN bus communication.
- Create and maintain KPI dashboards using data visualization programs to track departmental performance and data quality.
- Maintain all calibration standards and supporting documentation to ensure absolute data reliability across all test methods and maintenance of Quality management systems
- Lead corporate projects and present technical results to internal stakeholders
- Represent Continental in career fairs, collaborations with universities for internships/projects
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Robotics preferred)
- 2+ years of automotive testing experience
- Proven track record in autonomous systems or advanced vehicle dynamics.
- Proficiency in Matlab and Python.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and technical communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted; ability to sit or stand for 8+ hours per day in a testing environment.
