Responsibilities

As part of the Group Controlling team, you will play a key role in financial reporting, planning, and analysis at the corporate level. Your main tasks include:

  • Monthly Reporting & Planning:Contribute to monthly reporting (Actual/Forecast) and planning processes with a focus on profit and loss statement, operating assets, working capital, and cash flow

  • Support and advise divisions and subsidiaries during reporting and planning cycles

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:Analyze the Group’s income statement and key financial metrics for monthly reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning

  • Prepare reports for the Executive Board on operating assets, working capital, and cash flow (Main Focus)

  • Develop Group-level analyses on topics such as financial investments, divestments, depreciation, working capital, and Days Sales Outstanding

  • Accounting & Transactions:Post division and business area transactions, including intercompany profit elimination

  • External & Internal Reporting:Provide information for external publications such as annual and quarterly reports

  • Assist in preparing internal reports including Group reports, Supervisory Board reports, and planning books

  • Process & System Development:Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and controlling tools at Group level

  • Ensure system-side accuracy and functionality of queries and reports

  • Special Projects & Ad-hoc Analysis:Prepare ad-hoc analyses and support special tasks and projects

  • Degree in economics or business administration

  • Initial professional experience, preferably in controlling, accounting, and/or auditing

  • Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking

  • Knowledge of IFRS desirable

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; besides it, German language knowledge would be an advantage

  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage

  • Strategic mindset, flexibility, and assertiveness

  • High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
