The Facility Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all building facilities and utilities. This role ensures that all systems are functioning safely and efficiently, in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The candidate must possess a valid Chargeman Certificate.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain all facility systems including electrical, boiler, hot water system, process cooling water, compressed air, water supply, fire protection, and building infrastructure.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and coordinate repair works.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Liaise with contractors, service providers and Legal Authorities (BOMBA,DOSH,DOE,TNB, GAS MAS) for inspection, maintenance and repair activities.

Able to deliver presentations when needed.

Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices within the facility.

Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Facilities or equivalent).

Must possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (A0 / A1 / A4 – as applicable).

At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in facility or plant maintenance.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, utilities, and building services.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work in shift, independently and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.

Familiar with ISO, safety standards, and compliance audits.

Good communication and coordination skills and able to lead the team in shift operation
