We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant SAP Basis to join our team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SAP infrastructure, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. 1. Support and administration of SAP systems specifically in the SCM 2. Perform system monitoring checks and system performance optimization in coordination with hosting service provider 3. Design and maintain SAP system topology, architecture and integration 4. Work with global Basis team and service provider in support and maintenance SAP infrastructure. 5. Act as consultant and work in close cooperation with IT Competence Center pillars, Local IT and/or Business Key users in analysing requirements and change requests. 6. Recommends and assist implementation of best practices and relevant up-to-date tools for process improvement 7. Conducts problem analysis and resolve complex problems (Situational Management) according to Service Level Agreement as per BMC Helix tool 8. Perform escalation as the need arise 9. Create and maintain documentation of the environment and its processes 10. Enforce, support and recommend improvement of relevant SAP security concepts and guidelines 11. Ensure compliance with corporate standards and guidelines 12. Assist in the conduct of IT processes review and audit 13. Maintain consistent and transparent team collaboration ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - At least 4 years extensive working experience in the related field such as but not limited to installation, setup and maintenance of SAP systems, SAP Output Management (CUPS, OMS), SAP Security and Authorizations, integration, upgrades and technically leading Basis projects. - Strong knowledge and experience in SAP ME/MII, J2EE, NWDI, NWDS, SAP ADS. - Knowledge and experience in related SAP Java stack systems such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP PI/PO / SAP Workplace / CHARM / SAP Fiori / S4 HANA an advantage. - Knowledge in SAP Cloud Platform Framework and Integration an advantage. - Strong capability in analyzing and solving complex problems and incidents. - Ability and proficiency in handling IT projects and IT Project Management will be a strong plus. - Excellent knowledge in business processes ( Manufacturing and SCM ). - Experience working with intercultural and multinational team will be a strong plus. - Above average interpersonal skills, good team player and with leadership potential. - Advanced level of english ( Interviews will be in english ). - Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional on-call rotations. ## Additional Information At Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
