HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Responsible for creating production schedules using EDI/customer order data and or SAP - Responsible for overseeing all production planning activity for the facility - Ensure the production schedule supports on-time delivery goals - Identify labor, capacity, or material constraints that may adversely affect on-time delivery - Adjust resources or schedules as needed to maintain operational efficiency - Communicate with Production, Purchasing, Sales and Shipping departments to optimize the production schedule - Communicate daily with internal customers on delivery questions, order changes, order tracking, etc. - Handling production disruptions and productivity problems - Coordinates with plant personnel on planned downtime events - Reporting on the production status and any production issues internally ## Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE - Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of planning/production scheduling experience or 4+ years’ experience in planning/production scheduling in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree - Good Experience Microsoft Office Suite tools - Strong problem-solving skills - Strong verbal and writing Communication skills with internal and external customers - Experience with scheduling using scheduling/planning software tools Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
