Global Internal Auditor (Cross-Functional)

As part of our international and interdisciplinary Audit Team, you will play a crucial role in giving independant assurance on the integrity, effectiveness and efficiency of our global operations. As an internal Auditor, you will independently execute legal entity and functional audits within Conti Tech entities worldwide for the 3rd Line of Defense.

These will be your tasks and responsibilities in detail:

• Scoping legal entity as well as functional audits in various functions such as production, logistics, accounting, finance, sales, purchasing, IT, and HR based on available information and data.

• Carry out on-site as well as remote audits in order to identify risks, process optimizations and ensure the effectiveness of internal control systems and compliance with internal standards / policies and regulatory requirements.

• Compile audit report and present the results to the management

• Recommend measures to address identified risks and provide actionable advice to the business.

• Advise management on the development and enhancement of internal processes and structures. Monitor the implementation of recommendations.

• Academic degree in business administration, IT, law, engineering, or comparable qualification

• Several years of relevant professional experience, such as internal audit in a 3rd Line of Defense role and operational business in at least one functional area

• Knowledge of finance and SAP expertise would be an advantage

• Enhanced analytical skills and professional judgement

• Certified auditing qualification as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Internal Audit Practitioner (IAP), or Certified Risk Managament Assurance (CRMA).

• Experienced in MS Office applications

• Business-fluent English language skills (written and spoken), good German language skills preferred

• Self-confident appearance and professional presentation skills

• Advanced team and communication skills

• Willingness for international business trips (40-60%)
