Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in industrial Well Water Treatment to support capital projects, research, and brewery operations. This SME will provide expert-level guidance, strategic planning, evaluation, design, implementation, and optimization of well water treatment systems. This SME will provide technical expertise on groundwater identification, quality, treatment technologies, and regulatory compliance for industrial applications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on the assessment and treatment of well water for a range of constituents (organics, inorganics, pathogens, hardness, etc.).
- Design and specify appropriate water treatment systems, such as filtration, softening, disinfection (UV, chlorination), and reverse osmosis.
- Interpret water quality test results and develop tailored treatment solutions based on analytical data.
- Support research, development, and evaluation of new or alternative treatment technologies.
- Advise clients, engineers, and public health officials on best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., EPA Primary and Secondary Drinking Water Standards).
- Assist with the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, and training materials.
- Conduct site assessments, system inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of treatment system failures or performance issues.
- Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations and emerging water treatment technologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).

12-15 years of hands-on experience in water treatment, with specific expertise in groundwater/well water systems.

Hands-on experience with system design, water testing, and treatment technologies.

Experience with industrial and/or public water system applications.
-
Certification in water treatment operations preferred.
-
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
-
Certified Water Specialist (CWS) credential preferred.
-
In-depth understanding of groundwater chemistry and water well construction.
-
Proven expertise in process design, plant operation, and/or consulting services.

In-depth understanding of conventional and advanced water treatment technologies.
-
Familiarity with modeling software and SCADA systems.
-
Knowledge of both US and Mexican safety and environmental standards.
-
Relevant wastewater operator certifications a plus.
-
Excellent attention to detail on multiple simultaneous tasks

Excellent verbal presentation skills. Excellent written communications skills and ability to document system procedures in an understandable format

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Operations and Production:
The salary range for this role is:$121,600.00 - $194,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
