Reporting to the Operations Manager at our Louisville, KY manufacturing facility, you will be accountable for managing plant production activities across multiple shifts and departments to produce products that meet established quality. You will be responsible for customer service, safety, innovation, and cost metrics consistent with schedules and policies. You will implement standard work and maintain improvement through sustaining behaviors. You will control and utilize production capacity, equipment, and outside resources through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize losses.

- You will be responsible for food safety and quality and will maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
- You will supervise production lines to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications and meets production, usage, and labor goals.
- You will allocate labor to exceed Company standards.
- You will assure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate policies.
- You will assure the workforce is trained in job requirements.
- You will ensure flow of critical information to all levels and shifts of plant management.
- You will monitor correct ingredient usage at plant standards while maintaining quality goals.
- You will coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure plant goals are achieved.
- You will promote continuous improvement in production processes to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality.
- You will assure safety awareness and training are provided by supervisors and support safety programs.
- You will report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.
- You will share metrics with supervisors to promote continuous improvement.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or a related field
- 4+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the food industry.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Physical requirements include talking and hearing; frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting; using hands to finger, handle, and feel; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and tasting and smelling.
Must occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
