Shift: 10:00 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $22.77 an hour

Job Summary:

The Sanitation position is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including cleaning, sanitizing, and rinsing equipment and production areas promptly while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs location. You will report to the Sanitation Team Leader. Starting rate $22.77 per hour, attendance incentive of $0.70 per hour.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position

• Follow instruction

• Work individually and with others as a team

• Move up to 50 lbs.

• Work in extreme environments and from heights

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize and inspect production equipment and areas promptly

• Obtain all necessary tools to clean in place (e.g., chemicals, utensils)

• Assemble/disassemble equipment

• Rinse and clean all conveyors, rollers, hoppers, with high pressure hoses

• Clean and rinse drains in assigned areas

• Clean, rinse, and sanitize all tools and utensils

• Remove all excess water, grease, and other materials

• Perform general housekeeping in accordance to 5s

• Follow LOTO procedures

• Skills Required:

• Knowledge of GMP's and plant safety

• Be LOTO certified

• Understanding of damage/loss

• Knowledge of 5s principles

• Knowledge of chemical awareness MSDS

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience Required: Minimum 3 months production or related experience preferred.
