Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Development team collaborates with Sales to create data-driven strategies, compelling narratives, and effective media solutions for automotive advertisers. This role leads an Automotive Sales Development pod of Advertising Strategists and Account Specialists, providing expertise in T2 and T3 auto. By partnering with Sales and other Sales Development teams, this position is responsible for driving client strategy and revenue growth.
- Job Description Core Responsibilities
- Leads a regional Automotive Sales Development team (Ad Strategists and Account Specialists), fostering professional growth and metric attainment.
- Ensures responsibilities are carried out across the team according to proper policies and procedures and in accordance with the overall automotive strategy.
- Manages the development and upkeep of sales materials and resources, ensuring their effective distribution across teams.
- Stays current on auto industry trends and changes, proactively sharing insights with direct reports, Sales, and across Sales Development.
- Collaborates with HQ teams and Sales Leaders to understand, implement, and track key initiatives and organizational metrics.
- Serves as a client-facing partner with Sales, presenting solutions and recommendations to advertisers as needed.
- Collaborates with Advertising Sales and other partner departments to align campaign strategies and performance reporting for both new and existing business.
- Establishes and manages to work performance standards, serving as a point of contact for the advertising sales team to resolve operational questions and issues.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
