The Digital Product (Software) Configuration Management department provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products: embedded software, firmware/configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, COTS and tools. We are hiring a Senior Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer, to work onsite in Marlborough, MA.

What You Will Do:

• Design, plan, enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and procedures
• Configuration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version Control
• Status Accounting & Configuration Audits
• Manage digital product development/media libraries
• Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioning
• Configuration Management Tool administration / manages all access to tool applications (i.e. Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, Bit Bucket, JIRA, Confluence, Clear Case
• Administer/manage/use Dev Sec Ops tools like Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo
• Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)
• Maintain familiarity with program schedule, budget, identifying risks and aligning work to promote reuse and efficiency
• Coordination of data transfers, courier support among various environments
• Lead coordination of various digital product releases and interface with functional and program leadership ensuring on-time delivery and ensuring configuration management execution in multi-environment areas.
• Follow RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of Team Lead and/or Section Leader.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) AND a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools.
• Software Configuration Management technology, Information Technology (IT), and/or development/scripting experience.
• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience working with cross functional teams.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an **interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Advanced knowledge in Software Configuration Management principles, process, and implementation/execution
• Solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and documenting work
• Experience with software configuration management tools (Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS) - Git, Bit Bucket, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), and/or IBM Rational Clear Case, Synergy, Jenkins, Artifactory
• Experience with scripting programming languages (i.e., Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML)
• Experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Git Flow, and Agile concepts
• Database / software configuration management tool administration experience
• Proven experience with configuration management concepts and implementation
• Experience with software industry best practices such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)
• Proven collaboration and effective communication with individuals and cross functional organizations

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
