Collins Aerospace Digital Technology is seeking a Software Developer with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and productivity across engineering workflows.

This role is hands-on across the full lifecycle — development, deployment, and operational support — with an emphasis on reliability, maintainability, and customer impact. The ideal candidate has experience working in distributed teams, is comfortable collaborating across functions, and can deliver consistently in an Agile environment.

This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico

What YOU will do:

• Develop and enhance applications using .NET technologies (C#, VB, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap) & JAVA.

• Perform database development and troubleshooting (preferably MS SQL and/or MySQL).

• Contribute as an Agile team member, collaborating across remote and global teams.

• Partner with database developers and other engineers to debug and resolve issues.

• Work with JSON-based integrations and database-backed service workflows.

• Support deployment and sustainment activities, ensuring stable production operation.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, WebAPI, and Windows Services.

• Experience using the Atlassian Suite (Jira preferred).

• Web deployment experience using IIS servers and PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Telerik Controls.

• Continuous Integration experience (Jenkins preferred).

• Familiarity with SOLR.

• Knowledge of testing approaches such as TDD (NUnit).

• Experience with SVN and/or Git.
