The Global Intelligent Sensing & Reconnaissance (Global ISR) business within the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) BU of Raytheon, is looking for a Senior Manager to lead a team of 7-8 analysts and a portfolio with annual Sales of $200M+. The role is onsite in Westford, Massachusetts and is an integral part of the leadership team in helping to maximize execution, build strategy, and ensure the team is meeting financial and customer commitments. This unique role encompasses Program Controls Finance, Pricing, and Scheduling due to the entity being a h Goodrich business and operating as a wholly owned subsidiary. This role is essential for establishing transparent finance processes and decision making to assist leadership in the continued growth of this business. Excellent communication skills are required for interactions with, and guidance for, cross-functional leadership teams.
What You Will Do
- Leadership, Motivation and Development of Program Controls, Pricing, and Scheduling team.
- Review and approval of program monthly Latest Estimates (LEs) and quarterly Estimate-at-Completions (EACs), including all classifications, various cost types, and inclusive of offset obligations.
- Program Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) reporting.
- Actively identifying risks and opportunities with the cross-functional team and driving proactive mitigation and capture.
- Assisting the capture leads with new business initiatives, proposal activity, gate packages & negotiations.
- Development of Financial Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and 5-yr Strategic Plan as a support function to FP&A team.
- Generation of Contract Funds Request (CFRs) and Appropriation Requests (ARs), as needed.
- Balance sheet analysis and implementing cash optimization strategies.
- Supporting DCMA & DCAA data requests and audits where applicable.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
- Ideal professional experience will be related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
- Direct Supervisory experience guiding teams.
- P&L ownership or Financial Planning Experience.
- Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment.
- Experience leading cross-department project teams or managing across multiple related departments.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Experience with SAP, BMW, PARS, & Pro Pricer.
- Prior involvement with DCMA, DCAA, and Pricing activities for US government contracts.
- Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process.
- A demonstrated leader through Gate requirements.
- Experience with competitive proposals.
- Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures.
- Master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics or related field.
- EVM Certified.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
