  • Responsible for creating and managing global inventory consumption POs (to intercompany sources) to completion and ensuring timely remedy of any discrepancies preventing receipt and subsequent PO closure.
  • Create and effectively maintain transfer orders between Collins facility plants ensuring systemic alignment between supply and demand.
  • Establish and develop productive working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
  • Usage and interpretation of Collins ERP systems, analytics tools, and system reports to identify the availability of global inventory to support ISS demand.
  • Collaborate with Global Planners to determine most effective Make / Buy approach, based on global availability, capacity, and need date.
  • Collaborate with Analysts, Buyers & Planners, globally to proactively identify instances of unwanted oversupply, agree on mitigating steps, and timely execute actions to eliminate / limit excess materials where appropriate.
  • Review and assess supply / demand locations, deciding on the most effective logistics support plan where possible, and coordinate with warehouse & distribution leader on inbound volumes/space constraint updates.
  • Collaborate with CPMs on proactive reviews of reports (such as, but not limited to, customer open order books) to capture additional opportunities to secure global inventory, as required.
  • Lead activities to achieve on time in full deliveries to need dates, and support intercompany vendor open order book reviews, as required.
  • Support customer AOGs and expedite requests, as required
  • Support any ad-hoc initiatives, as required and directed by Leadership
  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience of working within JD Edwards E1, is preferable
  • Experience of using Excel, including use of look-up formulas and pivot tables, is required
  • Understand Manufacturing BOM ("Bill of Material") structures, is preferable
  • Experience of managing Supplier Open Order Book data, is required
  • Experience of managing Customer Open Order Book data, is preferable
  • Supply chain &/or planning experience/background, is preferable but not essential, as training can be provided to successful candidates
  • Strong networker, collaborator, influencer, negotiator, critical thinker, and highly effective communicator
  • Ability to operate within fast moving environment and manage multiple time sensitive priorities
  • Outstanding problem solver with experience of working within a continuously improving environment, exceling at identifying the root cause of issues and the implementation of robust corrective actions
