Title

• Program Chief Engineer, GTF Maturity

Location – Germany (Remote)

The GTF Maturity Program Chief Engineer is responsible for establishing short and long term strategic goals and plans to improve product performance of the GTF. As an adjunct to the RLPM defined SIPT and IPMT, they will identify future unscheduled engine removal or shop visit cost drivers and deploy procedure or design improvements to address by coordinating and driving activity with Engineering system and module center, operations, and aftermarket teams. They will also engage as a technical leader on top technical issues for both GTF programs at the request of the CE PCE team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for engineering team responsible for GTF strategic and technical issues
• Lead GTF Maturity project
• Engage with all GTF program IPMTs on maturity topics
• Collaborate with other key organizations which support the GTF
• Support customer and partner engagements Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• 10-20% travel is anticipated.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace and 14+ years of relevant experience, or
• An Advanced Degree in a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience
• Position requires at least 10-15 years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with engineering development and technology development processes
• Experience engaging with external government and Airframer customers.
• Highly motivated, able to work across organizational boundaries.
• Ability to craft clear communication and develop meaningful relationships.
• Advanced degree in Engineering
• Technical and strategic leadership experience
