At our Prestwick Service Centre, we specialise in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft engine nacelle systems and engine components. We are proud to serve a wide range of customers, delivering high-quality, reliable MRO services across Europe and the Middle East.
Due to growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering Team as a Stress Engineer onsite where you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and certification compliance of aircraft structures.
What You Will Do
As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural analysis and repair solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Evaluating and designing structural repairs in compliance with certification requirements and Airworthiness Authority regulations
-
Creating structural substantiation for repairs and modifications to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant solutions
-
Performing structural analysis using both hand calculations and computer-based methods
-
Working with composite materials and established repair design practices
-
Ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements, including EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property, and International Trade Compliance

Qualifications We Prefer

Proficiency in MS Office, with experience using MathCAD, FEA, and analysis tools such as Patran and Nastran
-
A degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
-
Experience in an aerospace, engineering, or similar regulated environment
-
Strong attention to detail and a methodical, quality-focused approach
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
-
