What You Will Do
- Lead the team to meet targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery activities of Logistics Operations while overseeing shipping.
- Lead and supervise team members to develop them towards a self-directed and multi-skilled workforce through planned skills training.
- Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture in the team. Assume roles in EH&S sub-committees.
- Interface with various business functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance and HR to achieve logistics goals and company’s objectives.
- Developed performance indicators (KPIs) for the team to track team performance.
- Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
- Manage logistics flow between sites.
- Maintain safety standards for logistics activities
- Ensure efficient materials flow from Logistics to centralized store to kitting.
- Ensure GT compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Good knowledge in handling Dangerous Goods.
- CORE involvements to improve efficiency of the process. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or any other related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- Good team player and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and self-directed. Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
- Relevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen.
- Able to work with all levels of management and in a fast-paced, matrix reporting organization.
