Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Publications Engineer to create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and related documentation for mechanical assemblies in the aerospace domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, familiarity with industry standards (ATA i Spec 2200, S1000D), and the ability to interpret engineering documentation to produce clear, accurate, and concise maintenance instructions.

Job Title: Associate Engineer

Experience: 1-3 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and revise Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) for mechanical assemblies.

  • Author maintenance procedures and functional descriptions by interpreting engineering schematics, circuit diagrams, and other technical documentation.

  • Organize and structure technical content according to established aerospace standards and specifications.

  • Ensure content clarity, accuracy, and consistency, adhering to Simplified Technical English (STE) and publication standards (ATA 100, ATA i Spec 2200, S1000D).

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to gather source data and ensure technical accuracy.

  • Support illustration development using tools such as Iso Draw (optional).

Required Experience & Tools:

  • Proven experience in authoring or revising CMMs.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Frame Maker,Epic Editor, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

  • Familiarity with technical illustration tools (e.g., Iso Draw) is an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace standards: ATA 100,ATA i Spec 2200,S1000D.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings,wiring diagrams,functional diagrams, and PCB layouts.

  • Capable of independently creating assembly and repair procedures for aircraft components.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / aerospace engineering.

  • 1 -3 years of industry experience in Authoring of CMM, AMM and Data Modules.
