Pratt and Whitney is seeking a Lead Auditor for the Quality Engineering group.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and participate in a tiered Sustainment Operations audit program to track network performance, compliance, Government Property, EH&S, etc. ​
  • Create and assist in the maintenance of audit process standard work and support 2nd and 3rd party audits.
  • Maintain audit records and manage/track/follow up on associated corrective actions.
  • Facilitate the development of root cause and corrective action for audit findings/non-conformances and compliance problems and reviewing and approving CARs in ETQ.
  • Collect and analyze process data, transform into meaningful information shared with senior management (i.e., control towers, MCAB, etc.).
  • Support the Quality Systems integration for the Sustainment Operations network.
  • Travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally.

​Qualifications You Must Have

  • Advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering experience in Aviation, Space or Defense or other regulated industry; OR ​Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification and Lead Auditor experience.
  • Ability to lead/coach teams through use of RCCA and other Process Improvement tools.
  • Experience delivering presentations to all levels of management for compliance activities/metrics.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
  • Six Sigma or advanced Lean Certifications.
  • AATT certification.
  • Experience leading audit programs.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma).

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

For onsite roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
