Overview:

RTX Corporation, a leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DT Data Analyst to join our team in India. The successful candidate will focus on model management activities within the Service Now platform, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our digital technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Management: Maintain hardware & software model records within the Service Now platform to support various business processes and requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Data Clean-up: Perform an analysis of all Model records in the Service Now platform and determine duplicates, models without assets associated, etc.… Work with AM team to perform cleanup and streamline the records.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Service Now platform, and work with relevant teams to implement these enhancements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure all data management activities comply with RTX’s data governance policies and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6+years of experience in data analysis, asset management, HW/SW model management, and working with the Service Now platform.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with Service Now’s data management and reporting capabilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Service Now Certified System Administrator or other relevant certifications or experience.
  • Experience: Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry or a similar highly regulated environment.
  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
