  • The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineering
  • Deployment Lead to support the Patriot program. In this role, you will be providing leadership support to systems deployed overseas. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines, interface with the customer, and partner to implement solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical execution of deployment team scope for multiple Patriot programs - this includes planning, coordination and execution of taskings for fielding of Patriot systems

  • Identify and obtain personnel and material resources required to complete team objectives

  • Coordinate across organizational disciplines and functions to identify issues, resolve roadblocks and ensure successful completion of team objectives

  • Interface with the customer, which includes scheduling and leading review meetings and technical discussions.

  • Lead development and reporting of proposal costing efforts for deployment team scope

  • Prepare plans, procedures, and test cases

  • Ability to travel up to 15% internationally.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience

  • Experience with the systems, software, operation, integration, and/or test.

  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • Experience leading technical teams

  • Experience developing staffing plans and identifying staffing assignments

  • Experience with MS Project scheduling/planning, proposals and bidding processes

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
