Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Program Lead (DPL) in support of Advanced Technology programs. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing leadership and management of DT needs in one or more programs in Tucson, AZ and across multiple distributed sites. This role will require the individual to be based in Tucson and cover other locations as needed. This position may require the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure that Digital scope is executed in accordance with performance standards, leveraging thought leadership, innovative solutions, and cost savings initiatives.

  • Partner with engineering and proposal/program management to capture functional requirements, translate requirements into program environment planning and execution plans, and manage changes in scope and function of the development and collaborative environments over the lifecycle of the program.

  • Support proposals/programs through your experience in Project Management, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Control Account Manager (CAM) methodologies.

  • Monitor of cost, schedules, and performance of DT tasks, which will include task planning and scheduling, EV reporting and variance analysis.

  • Work closely across multi-functional teams comprised of Engineering, Security, Manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain management as well as senior Program and Digital leadership on program status and will require influence across multiple Functional Areas.

  • Participate in pre-proposal and proposal process by strategizing with IPT/CPT, deciphering DT requirements in Statement of Work (SOW), and providing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for future business opportunities and pursuits.

  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate Digital related risk and dependencies throughout the proposal/program lifecycle.

  • Lead Digital and Program related projects through development and implementation utilizing project planning, team building, recurring task management, and formal presentations to leadership through completion.

  • Support preparation and/or presentation of weekly/monthly program reviews, Proposal Bid Reviews, EAC, AOP, and Capital Planning.

  • Support IPDS Gate reviews as applicable, including Independent Reviews.

  • Assisting with debugging test platforms and Information Systems (IS) to eliminate technical bottlenecks.

  • Facilitating technical collaboration with 3rd parties (e.g., suppliers) to simplify and accelerate procurement, licensing, and problem resolution for provided tools and equipment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Must have 8+ years’ overall Information Technology and/or Software/Systems Engineering experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Software development, Systems integration, and test processes to support activities across the program life cycle.

  • Experience with Dev Sec Ops methodologies.

  • Experience with Software development (Agile/Scrum), Systems integration, and test processes to support activities across the program life cycle.

  • Experience with the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS).

  • Experience in leadership capability with the ability to interact with senior levels of leadership – including Customer, teammates, and suppliers.

  • Working experience within Software and/or Systems Engineering.

  • Experience working in a program and/or engineering environment. Previous Global Program support desired Demonstrated experience in Business Case Analysis and Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Experience with Contracts, SOWs, BOEs, DT and Engineering (SW & Systems) Processes and Practices.

  • Must have experience project management such as Risk & Opportunity management, CAM, or performance tracking/management experience.

  • PMP and/or PMX/CMX Certification.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
