What You Will Do:

  • Establish the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
  • Plan the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings.
  • Plan the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment.
  • Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste.
  • Perform scrap and rework analysis, including data review, root cause identification, and implementation of standardized procedures.
  • Participate in tooling design using Solid Works, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and alignment with engineering requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related engineering field and 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proficient conversational and written English required, needs to be able to efficiently communicate both in person and in reports/via email.
  • Medium-advanced Excel user
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Project management
  • Experience using continuous improvement tools including LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Experience leveraging influencing, interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results.
  • Solid Works experience required
  • Must be available to work the evening shift, from 3: 10 p.m. to 11:10 p.m

Qualifications We Preferred:

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience with Drawings, BOMs, Routings, Manufacturing Procedures and product specifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechatronics or Mechanical preferred, Industrial or Aerospace also acceptable.
  • Valid Visa is preferred
  • Root cause analysis
