Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of Patriot Missile Product Line All Up Round (AUR) Production Lead, supporting the Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) in Chambersburg, PA. To be successful in this role, you will need extensive working knowledge of energetics production and missile integration environment experience. This role requires successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These teams include Production Control, Planning, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing/Test/Design Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Finance, and Maintenance Operations.

You will work closely with the Missile sub-IPTs, product line execution lead, operations, supply chain, quality, engineering cross product teams (CPTs), IPT leadership and program management teams managing the daily execution for the build of the AUR onsite at LEAD in Chambersburg, PA.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily production of AUR Production for Patriot Missile GEM-T at LEAD
  • Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP schedule
  • Workload planning, delivery status, customer interface, coordination of people and assets to ensure production timelines are met within safety, cost and budgetary constraints.
  • Organize and plan work, personnel duties, customer requirements/Statements of Work, and prioritize milestones for the successful stand-up of a missile maintenance line.
  • Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience in a production environment and explosives safety management
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams, to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support) and/or administrative functions

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Demonstrated Leadership skills and ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Experience with Patriot Product Line (PPL) Team and/or the GEM-T Missile product line
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and driving productivity improvement and efficiency using CORE Six Sigma, lean practices, and similar analytical improvement methods and tools
  • Missile certification and build experience, to include disassembly, assembly, component and subcomponent testing, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
