JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides Engineering assessment on issues stopping production.

  • Responsible for optimizing production process, designing efficient systems, and ensuring the quality of assembled products

  • Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.

  • Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.

  • Collaborate with various teams to improve workflows, implement new processes and design iterations, deploy new technology into the manufacturing line.

  • Communicates effectively within and outside of own team to explain facts, policies, and practices of the work area.

  • Works autonomously with moderate supervision on smaller projects or task related activities.

  • Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions creation, or assembly manuals.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.

  • Understanding of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies.

  • Proficient in Project management and excellent presentation skills.

  • Continuous Improvement of manufacturing process through structured problem solving.

  • Proficient on the tools & techniques required for the job including Lean Application, Process Certification, Total Quality Management.

  • Knowledgeable on primary functions like New Product Introduction, Configuration, Process Improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Must be at least a year in a current job level/post

  • Should not be under a Performance Succession Plan.

  • Should not received any disciplinary action for one year.
