We are seeking a Senior Director, Market Development Commercial Activation, Mexico South. In this role, you’ll support strategies with franchise operations and bottlers, assist management with identifying opportunities, provide recommendations, and implement key initiatives including sales planning and monitoring sales and activity records. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to provide visibility on highly complex or specialized projects in the commercial marketplace.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Ensure full alignment between the Marketing organization and Mexico South’s Commercial Activation team, securing unified priorities and synchronized system execution.

  • Lead the relationship and drive seamless communication between Commercial Activation, Zone, and Modern Trade to ensure clarity, visibility, and timely escalation of business issues.

  • Develop incentives, tactical POS, and joint commercial programs with Mexico South, ensuring financial rigor and execution readiness.

  • Lead weekly/monthly performance management, conducting deep analysis of revenue, volume, share, and transaction metrics to guide strategic decisions.

  • Oversee delivery versus execution objectives, driving agile course correction, resource allocation, and disciplined budget stewardship.

  • Steer commercial strategy execution with bottling partners, elevating local market plans into aligned regional system strategies.

  • Co‑lead contingency planning to protect annual business results across revenue, volume, share, outlets, SOVI, and pricing.

  • Assess and elevate bottler commercial capabilities using global diagnostic tools, standardizing capability frameworks and strengthening processes and scorecards.

  • Work with franchise leadership to steward the bimonthly commercial planning process, ensuring integrated customer and channel plans and strong governance.

  • Serve as the voice of the market to Franchise Leadership, delivering fact‑based insights, monitoring competitive dynamics, and recommending strategic adjustments.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 15+ years in a CPG organization responsible for direct sales, key account or franchise management with P&L responsibility.

  • Must have experience as a Business Partner with direct Bottler or manufacturing experience in the Food and Beverage industry and the ability to develop capacity plans to meet customer demand.

  • Experience with annual business planning, forecasting, customer and distributor management; strong track record of delivering positive revenue results.

  • Demonstrated passion for selling, negotiating, and relationship building in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Understanding of channel marketing, syndicated marketing research and competitive analysis, and ability to use this knowledge to drive sales.

  • Excellent relationship‑building skills and strong strategic leadership abilities.

  • Distribution center knowledge ideal.

  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to persuade key stakeholders.
