Role Overview

The role focuses on revenue-driving digital commerce levers including B2B platforms, customer e-commerce, marketplaces, and emerging digital buying occasions, working in close partnership with bottlers, customers, and platform partners.

Strategic Context

The role sits at the intersection of Commercial, RGM, Marketing, and Technology, with a strong bias toward execution and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Franchise-level Digital Commerce agenda aligned with Africa OU and global priorities.

  • Translate strategy into annual digital commerce plans, roadmaps, and targets for bottlers.

  • Manage and optimize digital commerce platform and marketplace partnerships.

  • Own digital commerce KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews.

  • Partner with RGM and Finance to support net revenue growth, mix, and price realization.

  • Build digital commerce capability and support change adoption across commercial teams.

Leadership Scope

This is an individual contributor role with matrix leadership, accountable for projects and initiatives rather than direct people management.

The role requires strong influence across Franchise, bottler, and partner teams, with accountability for digital commerce performance outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–14 years experience in FMCG, beverages, or related industries

  • Strong background in Commercial, Digital Commerce, Sales Enablement, or RGM
