Job Description Summary:

At The Coca-Cola Company, we are proud to be one of the world’s most recognized and respected brands, with a legacy spanning over 139 years and a portfolio of more than 200 brands enjoyed by millions globally. Our mission is simple yet powerful: refresh the world and make a difference.

We are seeking a Senior Director, MDS, Mexico North. In this role, you’ll support strategies with franchise operations and bottlers, assist management with identifying opportunities, provide recommendations and implement key initiatives including sales planning and monitoring sales and activity records. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to provide visibility on highly complex or specialized projects in the commercial marketplace.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Design the most effective Route to Market (RTM) model(s) to maximize growth for the full beverage portfolio in the North Region, ensuring scalable structures and commercial excellence across channels.

  • Lead the negotiation and implementation of RTM models with the Mexico North bottler, collaborating closely with Customer & Commercial Leadership, Franchise Leaders, and Bottler senior teams.

  • Drive multi‑stakeholder strategic projects, ensuring strong alignment, engagement, and accelerated execution across system partners.

  • Develop comprehensive execution toolkits required for successful RTM deployment, including processes, tools, commercial levers, organizational and compensation structures, and sales force engagement programs.

  • Define and govern the key success metrics to track commercial performance, execution health, and financial impact across channels and markets.

  • Lead the development of tools that enhance bottler capabilities, ensuring system‑wide alignment and readiness to execute the RTM strategy at the required level of ambition.

  • Operate across multiple regions in the Mexico North ecosystem, managing diverse market dynamics, customer landscapes, and system capabilities to ensure a cohesive regional RTM strategy.

  • Collaborate with a team of channel specialists, driving strategic opportunity identification and acceleration across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Direct‑to‑Consumer, and Digital Channels.

  • Set the long‑term RTM vision, strategy, and KPIs for the Mexico North bottler, ensuring clear priorities, channel‑specific growth pathways, and alignment with system‑wide commercial ambitions.

  • Assess internal and external RTM models to identify and prioritize growth opportunities across the region, driving “shift and lift” strategies to unlock structural advantages.

  • Identify capability and execution gaps between current performance and long‑term ambition, designing actions that accelerate the evolution toward higher‑efficiency, higher‑growth models.

  • Engage and influence the Bottling System around the defined RTM vision, ensuring clarity on the roadmap and strong commitment across all system stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in the Coca‑Cola System or CPG industry, driving commercial and strategic outcomes across multiple markets.

  • Deep knowledge in Marketing, Commercial Strategy, and RTM, with strong command of Modern Trade and solid understanding of TT, D2C, and Emerging Channels.

  • Proven experience working with Bottlers, influencing senior leadership and driving joint commercial transformation.

  • Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making capability, with ability to translate market, retail, and shopper insights into clear strategic choices.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, capable of shaping long‑term direction and unlocking structural growth.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to mobilize senior stakeholders and shape system priorities.
