Job Description Summary:

This role will act as one of the key category owners for the Brand Finance team under Investment Management in Finance.  This role will be responsible for developing financial insights and business cases for new products and innovations for the Japan business and supporting the category team in managing the category P&L.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Comprehensive P&L management for the category team, in collaboration with Finance and Marketing and provide the financial insights and support for innovations / brand portfolio

  • Driving financial analysis and insights necessary to enable the category to deliver the business targets, including innovation and RGM impacts

  • Owning regular reporting on business performance for category with key leadership audience

Qualifications & Requirements

Knowledge & Experience – The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance (Commercial Finance experience preferred)

  • Strong command of Excel, presentation skills

  • Experience using English and Japanese in business setting

Work Focus – The ideal candidate will:

  • Understand the business and profit model for consumer product or brand

  • Be able to provide support for business problems and improve performance

  • Understand key metrics on business performance rooted in knowledge of financials

  • Take opportunities to seek improvements to work processes

Communication/Team Focus – The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to communicate with various stakeholders including key functional leaders and bottling partners

  • Effectively communicate at working level to develop financial insights and business cases in a very diverse business community

  • Leverage communication and organizational skills to independently coordinate with stakeholders, manage projects/initiatives, and drive work forward effectively
