Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a Director, Finance – Business Development & Special Projects to join our team and accelerate strategic priorities within our Foodservice and On-Premise business. In this role, you will help drive financial strategies, commercial insights, and transformational initiatives that underpin our growth agenda. You will partner closely with cross functional teams—including Customer Finance, Customer Agreement strategy leaders, planning, operations, and commercial teams—to influence decisions, guide resource allocation, and support strategic customer negotiations.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and brings a forward-looking mindset rooted in data, digital fluency, and strong business partnership. If you are motivated by shaping the future of a global system, influencing long-term customer strategy, and enabling breakthrough value creation, this role offers meaningful impact and unmatched career experience.
What You’ll Do for Us
- Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and deal analysis to support new business opportunities, category expansion, and customer agreement strategies across the Foodservice and On-Premise network.
- Partner with Customer Finance leadership to deliver high quality insights and recommendations that influence pricing strategy, negotiation frameworks, and long-term customer value creation.
- Drive strategic initiatives and special projects that advance the business unit’s long-range plan, including resource allocation frameworks, pipeline renewal strategies, and future focused commercial capabilities.
- Provide financial leadership across cross functional teams by translating data into actionable insights, supporting annual and multiyear planning cycles, and identifying opportunities to strengthen profitability and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders by simplifying complex analytics, assessing risk and opportunity areas, and guiding financial decision making with clarity and precision.
- Lead project workstreams that enhance commercial finance capability, improve financial processes, and strengthen analytical tools aligned to the company’s digital transformation priorities.
- Partner closely with the Commercial, Strategy, Planning, and Operations teams to support strategic business cases, investment decisions, and performance management across multiple categories and customer groups.
- Use data visualization, AI enabled tools, and digital analytics platforms to enhance modeling accuracy, automate recurring analysis, and deliver scalable insights to stakeholders.
- Support enterprise alignment by ensuring financial strategies reflect broader company purpose, sustainability goals, and our long-term ambition within the North America Operating Unit.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to peers and junior talent, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement across Finance and commercial teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 7+ years financial strategy, commercial finance, business development, or complex deal modeling experience.
- Advanced financial acumen with experience applying commercial finance principles, investment evaluation, pricing strategy, and risk reward analysis at a senior level.
- Strong business partnership capabilities, with proven experience influencing cross functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage ambiguity, and create clear solutions for multifaceted business challenges.
- Digital fluency, including experience with data analytics tools, visualization platforms, ERP systems, and AI assisted productivity tools.
- Experience supporting negotiations or commercial agreements through financial insights, scenario modeling, or long-term value assessments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial findings into clear, compelling recommendations for non‑financial audiences.
- Enterprise mindset with the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic priorities.
- Master’s degree, CPA, or other relevant credentials preferred but not required.
- Experience working in large, matrixed, or global organizations is desirable.
- Demonstrated capability in problem solving, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and collaboration.
What We’ll Do for You
- Access to world‑class career development programs, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within one of the world’s most recognized global brands.
- A competitive total rewards package, including strong compensation, benefits, wellbeing resources, and programs that support flexibility and work‑life balance.
- A collaborative environment where your ideas are valued, your contributions matter, and you are encouraged to bring your whole self to work.
