About the Digital Assets Group

The Citi Wealth Digital Assets team serves as subject matter experts, driving the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive digital asset initiatives for Citi Wealth clients.  Our core mission is to help deliver best-in class digital asset products and services, personalized solutions and expert thought leadership and advisory, seamlessly integrated into a holistic client offering.  This includes identifying emerging opportunities, creating tailored product offerings and delivering specialized services that cater to the increasing demand for digital assets within a holistic wealth management framework.  Through expert guidance and proactive engagement, the team fosters informed dialogue and shapes understanding of the evolving future of finance within the digital asset landscape.

Position Description

The Digital Assets team is looking for a professional that can support our global team and partner with the Head of Digital Assets to drive Citi Wealth’s global digital asset strategy. This role blends thought leadership, client engagement, and strategic execution — helping define the roadmap, represent Citi in external forums, and translate emerging digital asset opportunities into actionable initiatives for the Wealth business. The ideal candidate possesses a proven passion for the digital asset and cryptocurrency landscape, and is a proactive, self-starting individual with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor and execution lead for digital asset initiatives across Citi Global Wealth.

  • Lead the development of strategic business cases and commercialization strategies for digital asset products and services.

  • Engage with clients, regulators, and industry participants to assess market opportunities and advance Citi’s positioning.

  • Partner with other teams across Citi to drive delivery of roadmap priorities.

  • Represent digital asset strategy in senior forums, risk committees, and governance processes.

  • Produce high-quality thought leadership and client insights to support commercial engagement.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members to build internal strategic capability.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in wealth management, capital markets, strategy, fintech, or a related domain.

  • Subject matter expertise in digital assets and cryptocurrencies, including market structure, tokenization models, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across senior levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging clients and leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
