We are seeking a Senior Vice President Business Execution Lead for the Asia South Corporate Banking franchise, who can work closely with business head, senior leadership team, functional partners and Banking JANA & AS Business Execution team to drive client revenue growth, execute strategic initiatives, deliver operational excellence and support day-to-day management of the business. The role will report directly to Banking JANA & AS Cluster Business Execution Lead.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be an effective communicator who is experienced working with business heads and partners in strategy execution.
- Possession of thought leadership, problem-solving ability and commercial awareness are essential attributes.
- Have a good understanding of the Banking industry, related risks and regulatory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Asia South Corporate Banking Head to develop and implement business strategy. Facilitate, support and lead key business initiatives across the country / cluster.
- Analyze and communicate financial performance, client opportunities, market trends and provide insights for country, cluster and global stakeholders
- Develop innovative solutions along with Asia cluster Banking Business Execution team, product and functional partners to address client needs and objectives
- Coordinate regular business planning and review, and working with business leaders on developing business outlook and strategy
- Develop and manage relationships with key areas of the firm, such as Services, Markets, Operations and Governance
- Execute key projects and ad-hoc analyses within the business
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Recommended Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in Banking, financial services or management consulting
- Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
- Intellectually curious and highly energetic, a self-starter with solution oriented mindset who is able to identify opportunities and execute independently
- Strong prioritization and re-prioritization skills with an ability to multitask
- Comfortable with large datasets, strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels
- Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Tableau and VBA also desirable.
