We are seeking a talented and passionate Tableau Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports that empower our business users with critical data-driven insights. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive visual solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, and data engineers to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy highly interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, flat files)
- Create and maintain Tableau data sources, extracts, and published workbooks.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all developed reports and dashboards.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Tableau solutions.
- Develop and enforce Tableau development best practices, standards, and governance.
- Conduct user training and provide documentation for Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, data visualization trends, and industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience as a Tableau Developer.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing complex, interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Strong proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- Experience with data blending, calculated fields, parameters, and sets in Tableau.
- Excellent understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and impactful visual solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
