The Business Analyst supports the overall administrative and operational activities of the business. Responsibilities may include contributing to or participating in external audits, business continuity efforts, and regulatory requests; assisting with tracking business metrics; managing employee headcount information; and coordinating various administrative needs. The role may also support ad hoc projects as assigned. The overall objective is to ensure the business operates in an effective, organized, and seamless manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial and budgeting support activities by reviewing and validating cost estimates, funding needs, T&E and P2P submissions, and employee expense reports to ensure accuracy, policy compliance, timely processing, and alignment with business plans.
- Maintain strong governance of business records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation across finance, headcount, audits, reconciliation, and operational metrics.
- Coordinate cross functional operations and act as a central point of contact to drive effective communication, alignment, and administrative support across departments.functional operations
- Provide analytical fiscal guidance, including cost analysis, recommendations on fiscal allocations, and input into budget development.
- Drive process consistency by developing and maintaining common frameworks, standards, and operational practices across units.
- Manage operational and administrative execution, supporting day-to-day activities and coordinating key events, including senior leadership engagements.
- Partner with stakeholders to address inquiries, escalate issues when needed, and ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with peer Business Analyst and the Region Senior Business Coordinator to drive consistent processes, shared prioritization, and alignment across units.
- Support strategic business initiatives through participation in project planning, execution, and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced PC proficiency, including expert mastery of Microsoft Office and strong capabilities in word processing, document creation, and analytical tools.
- Knowledge of database queries and reporting tools preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams and levels.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
