The role is within the Digital Learning Technology team and is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of digital learning and talent technology solutions. The focus of this role is to ensure the health of our offerings, analyze and report on usage/ROI, play a critical role in the selection and onboarding processes for new platforms, and contribute to the management of our vendor relationships. This is a strategic professional who stays abreast of the industry and contributes to strategy through a close partnership with our learning, talent and engagement professionals. This position is a program manager for enterprise systems, who will work closely with our operations and technology partners for end-to-end delivery of large scale and/or complex projects and works closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain the digital learning roadmap. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and support our direction and decisions. This role will provide advice and counsel related to the technology and operations of the business. This role will not only look after existing systems but will help to collaborate on new developments and influence innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and strategic direction for projects in relation to the current ecosystem, acting as a product owner of the enterprise Citi solutions, driving prioritization and standardization
- Partners closely with our learning, talent and engagement teams to analyze gaps in our offerings and define learning needs
- Manages a large multi-faceted technical project or multiple projects in parallel in addition to creating and delivering project outcomes
- Responsible for raising risks, issues and identifying process improvement opportunities
- Contributes to defining the product roadmap of existing systems and driving enhancements through vendor relationships
- Determines optimal configuration for our systems to achieve the desired outcome while managing new features and capabilities
- Partners closely with the operations and technology teams to define project scope and objectives through to implementation
- Advances the learning, talent and engagement technology offerings at Citi by enabling best-in-class systems and processes in alignment with future trends
- Stays current on current trends in technology and leverages expertise to develop learner-centric solutions
- Promotes good working relationships across projects, exemplifying the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among stakeholders, sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and project team members
- Consults with business partners to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- 3 years of project management experience with the ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
- 3+ years’ experience with learning, talent or engagement technologies
- Proficient with Agile Scrum and waterfall methodologies, as well as experience working with JIRA
- Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, PowerPoint, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Strong consulting and relationship building skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree
