Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to support the Senior Chief of Staff for the Risk Technology Business Execution team. This role is integral to ensuring efficient operations, robust governance, and accurate financial reporting within the Risk Technology division. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strategic initiatives, financial management, and oversight functions related to Blue $ Cash & P&L Financial Governance.
Responsibilities:
- Governance and Oversight (Investment Citi): Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of governance frameworks for investments within the Risk Technology domain at Citi, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- PTS Governance (Blue $ Cash Actuals & Forecasting): Manage and Oversee the governance process for Programs & Projects in Portfolio Tracking System, including tracking actual expenditures, analyzing financial forecasts, and reporting on performance against budget.
- Client Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for various stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial communications.
- Business Review Deck & P&L Reviews: Develop detailed business review presentations and conduct thorough Profit & Loss (P&L) forecast with the Net expense of Cash , Capitalization & Amortization across the projects with additional reviews to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Consent Order Oversight: Support the oversight and compliance efforts related to regulatory consent orders, ensuring that all stipulated requirements are met and documented. Provide timely Plan submissions for both Headcount & associated $$ spend to the Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
- Assets and Capitalization Impairment Review: Conduct regular reviews of technology assets, manage capitalization processes, and assess for potential impairment, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Functional Transfers & Other Ad Hoc: Facilitate functional transfers between departments or initiatives and provide timely support for other ad-hoc requests and projects as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

- Proven ability to execute against aggressive timelines and within an environment of organizational change.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in a Business Office / Strategy & Planning Information Technology role in Finance / Banking / Accounting domain
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office product suite especially Excel and PowerPoint; Proficiency and comfortable in managing large complex databases
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; Articulates complex concepts and issues clearly and eloquently to a diverse range of stakeholders such as technology teams and senior managers
- Prior Citi experience with good references and track record would be preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree, Masters Degree preferred or equivalent experience
