Citibank, N.A. seeks a Consumer Product Sales Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Analyze finance data and metrics to derive business value, and play key role in defining product and growth strategies for Citi’s On Card Lend and Spend Products including Flex Loan and Flex Pay products. Develop performance analytics of On Card Lend and Spend Products including Flex products to quantify incremental engagement and profitability. Add new segmentations and improve analytical rigor to provide strategic and actionable business insights. Build analytics in support of financial forecasting and in defining business strategy. Prioritize new growth initiatives by developing financial sizing, weighing risk/reward tradeoffs, assessing customer impact, and various other key factors. Amplify syndication and lead communications of financial plans and new growth initiatives to key partners, including Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Risk, Technology, Finance and senior leaders. Manage reporting for new product launches with high profile partners eg: Costco. Improve breadth, accuracy and usability of all reporting processes, and revamp communication of results and insights to cross-functional partners and senior leadership. Develop in-depth understanding of the profit and loss metrics (P&L) for On Card Lend and Spend Products including Flex products and lead communication of key trends, business drivers and strategic insights across cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Analyze On Card Lend and Spend Products including Flex products performance comparing against official forecasts, diagnose drivers of variances, and work with cross-functional teams to implement strategies to improve performance. Code and execute product eligibility and pricing for On Card Lend and Spend Products including Flex products. Manage key governance stakeholders and controls related to eligibility and pricing. Utilize tools like SQL to derive actionable customer insights. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Engineering (any), Engineering Science, Business, Economics, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or related position involving business data analysis and growth strategy development. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Analyzing and reporting KPIs including customer engagement metrics, conversion rates, marketing channel attribution, and attrition to identify opportunities for product optimization and growth; Using analytics tools including SQL to effectively communicate complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical audiences; Utilizing MS Office products with Excel and Tableau to produce leadership dashboards and reporting packages. At least 2 years of experience must include: Assessing customers interact with digital lending products, user behavior, product performance, and market dynamics to inform product strategy, product design/features and offer formulation; Driving pricing strategy to optimize P&L for lending products using customer behavior segments and internal and external credit risk scores; Collaborating with Legal and fair lending compliance teams to ensure initiatives or product changes align with regulatory requirements, and remain within established control frameworks; and Developing financial forecasts for credit card lending products as part of the planning process and work with leadership to set targets or goals.
